Previously known as the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), the National Eligibility criteria Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET (UG) is an all-India pre-medical entrance exam for students wishing to enrol in undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) programmes in government and private institutions in India as well as for those planning to pursue primary medical education abroad.
National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the test, and State Counselling Authorities and the Directorate General of Health Services under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare receive the results in order to assign seats.

The four-year undergraduate programme known as B Sc Nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing, is in the discipline of medical science. Candidates for the B.Sc. Nursing programme must have completed either a nursing diploma or the 10+2 biology requirement. The four-year undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing programme trains students to serve humanity by providing medical care. The curriculum of this undergraduate nursing programme includes topics including physiology, anatomy, biochemistry, nutrition and dietetics, and psychology, all of which are related to the care of the sick and injured.

Bachelor of Pharmacy, an undergraduate degree study, is known by the full name B Pharma. A four-year B Pharmacy programme gives students a thorough understanding of pharmacy and healthcare.
There are many opportunities for Bachelor of Pharmacy students within the B. Pharma. scope. B Pharma gives information on where and how to use allopathic medications. The candidate learns about the applications of therapeutic herbs. Being a licenced chemist requires holding a licence to distribute allopathic drugs, which can be obtained by pursuing a B.Pharm.

The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), also known as the Young Scientist Incentive Plan, is a scholarship programme funded by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India with the aim of encouraging students to pursue research careers in the basic sciences. Scholarships and contingency grants up to the pre-Ph.D. level are available to chosen students. Students who pass the KVPY Exam are eligible for a fellowship as well as admission to schools like the IISc and the IISER, depending on further conditions. Three streams—SA (Class 11), SX (Class 12), and SB (First Year BSc)—are eligible for this test. 

One of the top engineering specialisations is B.tech in Biotechnology. Any technological use of biological systems or live beings to develop or alter goods or procedures for a particular purpose is referred to as biotechnology. Technology, research, and development are all combined in the biotechnology bachelor's degree programme. It is a more research-focused programme that covers coursework in genetic engineering, chemical engineering, and applied biology. The usage of living things, agriculture, medicine, and industrial and manufacturing processes are all covered by this study.

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET), formerly known as the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET), is an all-India examination administered by the National Testing Agency to candidates seeking admission to 45 Central Universities of India's undergraduate programmes. Many more State Universities and Reputable Universities in India also accept it.
